Use the `GlobalCache` facade, or the `global_cache()` helper.

Create a disk and *don't* add it to `tenancy.filesystem.disks`.

Use the `global_asset()` helper.

Create a new connection and use it like `DB::connection($connectionName)->table('foo')->where(...)`
